Very colorful, almost symbolic representation which would be considered pretty avant-garde in those days, but could fit the timeframe. This might be the opposite from steampunk... I can't take credits for this though, these characters have been designed and drawn by Sanna Annuka, a finnish/english designer. I just picked 11 from the 25 I could find, put the "right" name with them and changed the color scheme for two of them (she'd kill me if she knew...). Cut and paste all the way baby! |

Yeah, the originals (one girl a day) probably are made in 3 color screen print technique, this long banner has at least 6 and probably 8 (Disa with her 2 shades of red...) and would be very very expensive to print. If you compare this with the color scheme of the Gotha forum, then a design like this must appear completely alien to the Gothans. Nevertheless, it's feasible- Let's see if I can get it in color halftone for cheap reproduction
