Atlanberg Projekt

The Atlanberg Projekt is a project started by the Gründer at the start of new Häverist State in Helreich. Started as a project to create safer government/civilian facilities out of harm's way in the Atlanberg Mountains, the project was expanded as technology advancements allowed further exploration into the mountains. The discovery of an underground cavity in the Atlan-12 Mountain spurred the digging and exploration of the ancient volcanic cavity. Exploiting the location, the project developed into an opportunity for energy generation. Using man-made waterways leading into the mountain towards the cavity, hydroelectric facilities were constructed to generate the project's electricity. By this point, the Atlanberg Projekt developed into a project of energy exploration and exploitation. Following the dormant lava-tubes and with the use of controlled explosives, the project was able to start utilizing the mountains' geothermal heat as an energy source. The project evolved as more and more workers, architects, and engineers moved to the settlement within the cavity, Atlanberg. Mining operations were also started as the infrastructure developed for Atlanberg, mining various metals, gems, and most notably coal.
