Auresian (Auresiano [au'reeˈsiaːno] or Lingua Auresiana [ˈliŋɡwa au'reeˈsiaːna]) is a Pastanic language of the Kachal-Anarian language family. It is descended from Late Pastanan (West Pastanic), one of the main spoken languages of the Dragar Monopoly, and is subsequently a member of the Dragar languages family. Auresian is spoken as the native tongue of more than 75 million people, predominantly in the Auresian Empire, where it is the official language, with minority speakers in Ardennes and Errea. It is also the secondary language in the Auresian colonies throughout Gotha. Within Auresia, the tongue is the first and native language of roughly the entire population. Like its cousin tongue, Anisoran it is also widely spoken, primarily as a second language, in many places around the world for a variety of purposes. It is largely mutually intelligible with Anisoran and many other Tovan-Anisoric languages, such as Marolian.

All commerce, government, and other public affairs are conducted in spoken and written Auresian. All official government and military documents, and all signage and public notices are likewise are written and/or printed in the language.
