Marius III (Gaius Marius Decus; born 29 January 7524) is the current Emperor of the Anisorans, also known as the Emperor of Anisora. He ascended to the throne at the age of 31 on 7 July 7553 with the death of his father Titus II. Marriage

Empress-consort Avrona Lassinia

In the years leading up to the Grand Prince's 25th birthday, various eligible princesses from across Anaria were presented at the court of Titus II in his need to marry before eventually taking the throne. In Anisoran tradition, it is preferred that the heir apparent, in this case Marius, marry and have a family of his own prior to becoming Emperor, hence a suitable match was sought.

Marius would go on in 7549 to wed the princess Avrona Lassinia, granddaughter of Dynast Emperor Emshandar III of Auresia and an elder cousin of the reigning Dynast Emperor Cephorus IV (who was in attendance, aged 13 years). The two had courted for almost a year and aside from being one of only a handful of the rare occasions a member of the Scarlet Dynasty wed outside of the Empire, it was also an opportunity heralding strengthened ties between the two nations. After special arrangements were made given the ongoing Pan-Anarian War, the two were wed in Effila Temple in Valance.

A year after the wedding celebrations in 7549, the Empress Avrona gave birth to the Imperial couple's first child, a daughter, on 14th February 7550 who was named Tiberia Livia. Her birth was witnessed by the Emperor, who was the first person to hold her, as well as Jason Julianus (Tribune of the Interior) as is traditional, whom proclaimed her Magna Principissa (Grand Princess) and thus the heir-apparent. In the following year, a son was born, Lucius Titus. Due to the male-preference cognatic primogeniture system of inheritance, he took precedent over his older sister and was named Grand Prince in the place of Princess Livia. Over the following eleven years, the Empress birthed a further 6 children: in 7552 Prince Pius Brutus; 7555, Princess Clara Victoria; 7556, Princess Mariella Juliana; 7558, Princess Viola Bella; 7559, Prince Alberto Gaius; and 7562, Princess Marie Julia.
